Can’t get menu items to highlight as I scroll

I’m working on a single-page website with GeneratePress Premium and have the menu items working well with anchor links in the different relevant containers of the page. When I click on the menu item it takes me right to that container. However, it doesn’t stay highlighted and nothing happens in the menu as I scroll through. I’ve tried playing around with different settings in your plugin and nothing has any effect.

This was easy for me to achieve with Elementor (https://goodbyeelections.film/ has the effect I’m looking for as you scroll down the page). Am I missing something? Why isn’t this taking any effect?
