Hello, I somehow can’t figure out how to complete indexing of my WP site. I have connected the plugin to Google Search Console so I can view the indexing states in admin panel. All pages have fair local SEO score and focus keyword set, though on index status page having status verdict Excluded. So far only two pages are status sent and indexed, the others are just discovered or browsed. I’ve reviewed each of the “excluded” pages to not have noindex flag but have index on, that’s not on case. Even sending the page by hand for immediate indexing doesn’t seem to change it’s status. Any thoughts about what could be preventing them to index?

    Hello @more-than-god,

Thank you for contacting the support.

Please check the affected URLs with the URL inspection tool of your GSC account. If you see the same status there, then you will have to wait for Google to decide to index them. If the status is different in your GSC account, please navigate to WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Status & Tools > Database Tools and Rebuild Index for Analytics.

The new stats will be fetched and the status should update after the process is complete.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Thanks so much for your hint, rebuilding the index for analytics really helped to push further so now more than a third of pages are completed indexing. However there’s yet a lot pages which did not change their status from excluded. Is it normal many pages of same web won’t finally get indexed? I share many same secondary keywords for most of them, not sure if that’s bane for Google bot or not.

    Hello @more-than-god,

If these excluded URLs have the same status on your Google Search Console, you can wait for Google to index them.

It is completely normal for a newly published post/page/website to take time before it gets crawled or indexed by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URLs. Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.

With that said, please check for URLs in your Google Search Console and look for any coverage issues so we can identify why Google refuses to index these pages.

We are looking forward to helping you.
