    Hi Tobias, can you help? I cannot get my table to display correctly and it looks really bad, with huge bold text. I added CSS, but it has made zero difference. I’m not techy at all, so I have no clue how to fix it. The CSS I applied (using what I found in your documentation) is:

    .tablepress-id-1 tbody td {
    font-family: Tahoma;
    font-size: 10px;
    font-weight: normal;
    color: #ff0000;
    }

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Another thing: added a new table to a draft page but the shortcode isn’t displaying the table at all when I View Page. I’m using Classic Editor.

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    For some reason, the table’s Shortcode is formatted as an h3 heading on this page.
    Please go to the “Edit” screen of this page and remove the formatting of the Shortcode. It should be marked as simple text only.
    (To verify, you could switch from the “Visual” to the “Text” editor in the upper right corner of the editor window and check that there are no <h3> and </h3> HTML tags around the [table id=... /] Shortcode.)

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Thank You Tobias, stupid me hadn’t checked the shortcode line formatting.
    Any help with inserting a newly created table in a page? All I want to achieve is a row of clickable (external url) images with captions underneath. I’ve added the shortcode to my page, but when I view it, it shows [table id=2 /] instead of the table itself. Could this be because the page is still a draft?

    Hi,

    good to hear that the the formatting is fixed now!

    I’m not sure about the inserting problem with that draft… Normally, this does not have an influence. Can you please try typing in the Shortcode again (to rule out copy/paste issues with invisible characters)? And does the Shortcode work when you published the draft page?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    No Tobias, tried several times, the shortcode is correct. Still not inserting the table. Page is published.
    Anything you can think of?
    Thank you, and sorry for the inconvenience.

    Hi,

    does this happen on the same site as above, where the Shortcode is working? That would be even stranger.
    And the Shortcode is added in the page’s content area? If so, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touch by email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias
