I create a new menu, call it ‘Photo Gallery’ then click on SAVE MENU. Then I put checks in the boxes on a few pages I want to be in the menu, then click on ADD TO MENU. The 3 pages appear in the list in the Photo Gallery tab to the right. Then I click on SAVE MENU again. When I go to the page nothing has changed in the navigation bar under the header. And when I select ‘Primary Navigation’ as ‘Photo Gallery’ in the Theme Locations section, all the original nav buttons are gone and the 3 selected pages replace them.
What am I doing wrong?…. What I am trying to achieve is a new nav button that appears just like adding a new page, that when hovered over or at least clicked on a dropdown list of other pages appear.

    Thanks,
    Mike

Nothing. Everything you described is as it should be. Custom menus replace the default menus.

Yeah,,,I just figured it out before you replied…lol

None of the instructions explain that you have to add all your pages to the Navbar and just indent the ones you want to reside inside of a button on the nav bar…ARG,,,it was so simple after realizing how to approach it.

    Thank You, Esmi
