Can’t get nextgen gallery album to show on page

I think you need to take out the comma.

when I take out the comma I get nothing, not even the error

Maybe the problem is with the template – try it with just the id and no comma.

Still nothing. Are there instructions somewhere which will explain how to implement the album function? I had no issues getting a gallery and slideshow on one of my pages. I don’t understand why the album would be any different.

I haven’t seen instructions, but then I really didn’t find a need.

When you go to Admin->Gallery->Album, can you see the album in the right-hand column? Make sure it is ID: 1.

If that isn’t it, I’m afraid I am out of ideas.

When I added a second gallery to the album they both showed up on the page. Dont know why it didnt work with just one.

Going crazy with NGG! Try as I might I couldn’t get an album to show up on the page. I tried every combination of short code suggested. I started playing with the short code out of frustration. I came up with something that displayed ALL my galleries:
[album=3 , extend] with a space on both sides of the comma.
NO other combination gives me ANYTHING. Zilch.
I am also unable to drag and drop a gallery into an album, it just bounces back to the gallery section. What in the world is going on?
I uninstalled the plugin and reinstalled it sacrificing hundreds of galleries to try to get it working and nothing. It would be SO cool if it would just work. Any help out there?

Weird, though all the galleries show on a page, when I click on one all other disappear.
