I have installed the NextGEN Gallery Voting plugin to go along with the NextGEN Gallery plugin. I have set the options to allow for voting on images but not galleries and it isn’t working.

    My site is: drawsomethingart.com

Basically I have a sticky page as my homepage and I created a NextGEN gallery on that page. So all images get put into that one gallery. I don’t have any posts or any other galleries for them. When I enable the voting for the gallery it just puts the voting below all the pics and is an overall gallery voting system. I would like it so that each individual picture can be voted on and not just the gallery. I have tried to find a solution for this on my own but nothing has worked. Any ideas??

read this tutorial and ask me (via a comment on my page) if you have any more questions.

    Good afternoon,

I’m working on a localhost right now before i publish the website. Nextgen gallery is working, but I can’t get the voting to work. I tried the tutorial of c-schaefer and also this tutorial.

But it is acutually all the same and really simple: but it’s not working? Are my general setting of nextgen wrong? I know see the gallery and when i click on the picture now voting is visible, not when i’m using thickbox, not when i’m using imagebrowser.

    Please help me ;-).

    Kind regards.

If you are using imagebrowser, you need to add the tag to the imagebrowser.php template in the ngg/view/ directory.

Right now you cannot add the voting to thickbox, as it’s markup is generated on the fly by the javascript.

Please start your own thread for your own questions in the future.
