Can’t get rid of a category

  • One of the categories I set to delete, called ‘current news and information’ has remained on the list of categories, only now it has no checkbox to allow me to delete it. Is this something I can fix without going into mySQL? The category IS empty.

  • Any chance that is your ‘default’ Category? If no to that, then any plugin causing the problem?

    Thanks for responding. I can’t seem to find where I can see or change to a default category. I’ve looked in the settings and in the category page.
