Can’t get shipping to show

Thanks for using our plugin and reaching out to us.

Based on your description it doesn’t seem like you are doing anything strange. You created a product feed for a specific country. Are there also shipping configurations present for that specific country?

Yeah, we ONLY ship to the UK so under WooCommerce>General Options we have the “sell to specific locations” bit selected and in the Sell to Specific Countries underneath this, just the UK is selected.

Then, under the SHIPPING tab we have a single zone which is UK and then we have various shipping classes showing up there, all with values set. The shipping values all work in the shop itself too, ie they show up as expected when we add items to the cart.

Strange, all sounds correct to me.

Could you try setting the general plugin shipping settings like this:

Does that make any difference?

Tried that now but I’m afraid it seems to make no difference?

Okay, actually I can see a difference now, however I’m still not sure things are as they should be.

So the shipping tag is empty for a lot of the products in the feed and it just so happened to be the ones at the top, however when I scrolled down I saw that many products did have some data in there, however it was showing *all* rates, not just the applicable one, for example:

So this is showing all Shipping Classes for the Zone but only one of them is relevant (the UK Pallet shipping GB one at ￡90). The others aren’t applicable to this product?

Sorry I should have added that for the products where the shipping rate is empty it’s for products with options – we do have a shipping rate set for the product but each option is showing as a separate product and each one also has no shipping option applied?

Do I understand correct you are using a 3th party plugin that effects normal WooCommerce shipping features? A table rate plugin?

Nope, we’ve not added any other shipping plugins in, just using the basic WooCommerce ones (flat rate and free)

We had a bit closer look to your feed and it seems like all products with a price lower then GBP 1000 are missing the shipping costs?

Could you share screenshots of your shipping methods and zone configurations so we can try to reproduce the issue at hand?

Also, just checking: are you on the latest version of the plugin?

Thanks for getting back to me – that’s odd since the site has a free shipping for orders OVER ￡1000 shipping class so that result might be the opposite of what you’d expect.

That is strange indeed as when we replicate those shipping settings we get to see this for products over GBP 1000:

Just to make sure you did select the United Kingdom as country for your feed?

And you are on the latest version of our plugin?

Yep, we are on the latest version of the plugin and have set the UK as the country for our feed.

Would it help if I gave you admin access to take a closer look? Did my shipping rates setup look okay to you from those screenshots?

Giving admin access to plugin owners is strictly forbidden according to WP forum guidelines so this is not something we can do.

From what I have been seeing in the helpful video you created the shipping settings seem fine. Although I did notice that you used a Flat rate configuration for free shipping purposes. I am not sure if that helps or might even be causing the issue at hand.

What do you suggest is a better approach for the free shipping option of using a flat rate might cause issues?

I am not sure what the “flat rate-free shipping” method is intended to do?
