• Hello,

I can’t seem to be able to get the text to show up in the Call-to-action field.
I’m no expert, but I have followed instructions all the way, and this seems to be the only problem I can’t get around (for now)..
I’ve tried resetting the field, but no luck, and this is the only idea I can think of at the moment.
I’m not proficient with CSS, so if you do have any suggestions in that direction, could you please write down the exact code for me to copy/paste?

    Can anyone help?
I really need to launch my business’ website tonight/tomorrow, and this is the only thing getting in the way. (This is the address – https://www.limitedspacerecords.com – but unfortunately, as I mentioned, the site is not live yet)

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Andy

  • Hey! It looks like your site is throwing out some errors in Chrome Inspector. One thing I can recommend trying is going through the plugins on your page and deactivating them one by one to see if they are causing the errors or the missing text, if not both.

Unfortunately, I’m not proficient in JavaScript or PHP yet, so I can’t offer much more advice here. The developer or other support staff will likely be here in a few hours to clear everything up.

Thank you – I will try and have a look now, and hopefully might be able to sort it out.
If you could have The developer or other support staff contact me at some point soon, that would be awesome.
I will let you know if any progress.

    Thanks again,
    Andy

    Hi,

Unfortunately, clearing the cache does not seem to have fixed the problem..
I’ve deactivate some plugins, but didn’t quite want to delete any at the moment, in order to not create other problems that I wouldn’t know how to fix..

Here’s the link to my page – https://www.limitedspacerecords.com – (it should show the coming soon page really, but that didn’t seem to be the case on Chrome for me – I’ve been using Safari to edit up to now, on mac).. I also seemed to have some problems with the browser (Chrome) which only partially is responding to some commands now.. not sure what that is about, trying to delete and reinstall..

    Thanks

Sorry, I still haven’t been able to get your issue figured out and I’m still waiting on others to come and help. The developer is currently in South Africa with limited internet access, so it’s taking longer than usual for him to get around to the free forums. Be assured though, he takes the support very seriously and will get to you as soon as possible.

I was able to find that some of those errors were being caused by the lack of the Chromecast browser extension being present. Once I installed the plugin, it narrowed it down to just one. Sorry I can’t be of more help to you right now. This is just a little beyond my current skill level.

    Hi,

thanks for your help anyway – I really appreciate you doing the best you can.
Unfortunately, my skill level is also really basic, as far as the more technical stuff is concerned, so I doubt I’ll be able to dig deep and get to the bottom of this specific issue, but as I really have to find a solution asap and launch the website, I’m now thinking that perhaps just re-installing my WordPress fresh, and then resetting it up from scratch might be the best way to go.. I’ve done it once now, so I would know what to do, and have saved of course all the various media that would go on the page, so hopefully it shouldn’t be TOO hard. Sounds like a good idea? ??

    Thanks again.
    A.

If that doesn’t work, I would try contacting your host about the error, and see if they have any advice on the issue.
