• My theme is purportedly fully WooCommerce-compliant (Edge/Hudson). You’re supposed to be able to see the cart icon just off to the right of the top menu. I’ve got it set to appear. I add the WooCommerce Dropdown Cart widget into the WooCommerce Dropdown Widget Area.

    Nothing. I’ve put in a “What’s up with that?” to Edge’s support, but I’m wondering if anybody here as any input that could perhaps be not theme-related?

    I got it working. Turns out there’s a missing icon in one of the font/icon packs that comes supplied with the theme.

    However, I cannot get it to be ‘in-line’ with the header menu. It’s residing above it. Eh. Good enough for govt work? Sure. But I want to ‘wow’, rather than ‘not bad’, my client.

    Whoops. That moves the icon down so that it’s in line with the menu, however the hover functionality isn’t going with it. /o:

    When its further down, the icon slides under the nav element which is catching the click, but we can put it on top of the nav menu using z-index:

    .shopping_cart_outer {margin-top:60px; z-index:200}
