Can't get the first sidebar to appear; Arcade theme

  • I’ve just changed my website theme to Arcade, and I can’t get the first sidebar to appear, even though I have set a static front page and I have selected a right-hand sidebar layout.

    I have three widgets positioned in the first sidebar area, but they are not appearing on the page.
