Can’t get the plugin to work with Neve Theme

I just checked your page and I cannot see the copyright text in the footer anymore.
Did it work to remove it in the end?

It’s still there, we just made the font the same color as the background because we couldn’t replace it.

The HTML you told us to add is the same html we already provided above which doesn’t work.

Removing the replacement code changes nothing on our website.

I tried it on my end with the same theme and it seems to work with the one from this file.

That is the same code that we provided to you that we used originally, we already posted that in the original post above.

I understand it’s the same code, but the one from the file should work fine. I just double checked it on another site and it removes the copyright if copied from that file.

It seems when I paste the code here in the wp editor it will change it somehow and it does not work.

That html code is already what is in your plugin, it’s been there the whole time since before I posted here.

I am having the same issue as joyryde. I typed in the code from your dropbox link, and it didn’t work. I am trying to remove “Neve | Powered by WordPress” Thanks!!

I see in your post from 6 days ago that you discovered the html code was already in the plugin. Am I interpreting your message correctly? Or did you solve your problem another way? I’d love a way to remove the footer credit!

As far as we can tell this plugin doesn’t work. Our website still has the footer credit now that Neve Theme put out their new version of the theme.

I asked the question in the main thread, and I got a response. The code is slightly different from what you and I were using. And it worked!!! Here is the reply that I got ??

And then go to Step 1 > and paste it there > leave Step 2 empty and save.
