    Hello,

I am trying to get the plugin to display the result of a search. I tried the widget, I tried the short code, used the instructions from https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/filter-search-by-handle-and-hashtag/
but it refuses to retrieve anything. The link generated is valid, so when I click on it it displays the expected results of the search in Twitter. The plugin is setup ok and it is able to retrieve a feed.

Any idea why it does not work? Is it due to the changes Twitter has made? I used the codes from a new app created using the new process, but I also tried some old codes created ages ago. The result is the same. The result is the same. The plugin is unable to retrieve anything.

    Thank you,

    Constantin

By default, search has a very small time window – 7 days. Have you tried in a search which would definitely be delivering a result from the last day or so?

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for the answer. This must be the problem. The tweets are a few weeks old. I guess I will need to think of an alternative solution.

    Best regards,

    Happy to have helped.

Rotating Tweets does cache old searches, so if you leave it in place it will build up the number of tweets shown over time.

    Hi Martin,

Thank you for the suggestion. I have just sent a tweet and it magically appeared in the search ?? I will use this approach and see if it works for me (and I think it should).

    Best wishes,

    Constantin
