• I want the authors to display with just the avatar and title. When I put in the shortcode, it looks fine in Elementor, but then the published version displays only the avatar. Can anyone tell me how to make the title show up? This is how I have it set up:

    [authors_list style=”1″ columns=”3″ show_title=”yes” amount=”8″ show_count=”no” show_bio=”no” bio_word_trim=”10″ show_link=”no” only_authors=”yes” title_element=”h2″ orderby=”post_date” order=”DESC” exclude=”1″]

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Okay, this is a conflict with Elementor Pro. When I put the same thing into a regular WordPress page, the title shows up fine. I’ll do that for now, but would rather use Elementor because it gives me more responsive options.

Weird! The titles showed up when I published the code on a page, but when I made that page the homepage, the titles disappeared again. Please help! : (

    Hi @maialee

    That’s weird.

But it might not be related to Elementor, I tried it with Elementor (free version) on my install and it worked fine (the page is set as front page).

It might be a conflict with a different plugin that happens to make some adjustments to WordPress authors functionality on the homepage.

So can you try a little test. Create a regular page (non-elementor) with the same shortcode and set it as the front page. Do the titles show up?
