Can’t get to Admin site

I just downloaded WordPress (via Fantastico) to my (brand new) HostGator account. Then I clicked on the provided url after installation and it said the url was not found. If I understand correctly, I should be able to enter https://mydomainxxx.com/wp-admin/ into a browser, enter my name and pw and be in…

Is there a setting I’m missing?
