cant go to POST or WRITE POST or EDIT post

  • i cant go to WRITE A POST or POST … from the admin area

    help!

    i dont know what version of wordpress i have

  • Have you installed or activated any new plugin? If so try deactivating.

    Your WordPress version is at the bottom of every admin screen.

    i tried to install anarchy_media a couple of weeks back — all i did was put the files in the plug-in directory. nothing shows in plugins from the admin dashboard.

    i cant even find post.php anywhere.

    how would i deactivate a plugin?

    anythoughts?

    ok .. i can now get to WRITE A POST if I disable the “Use the Visual rich editor when writing”

    how can I get that to work? I thought that was built in but am now thinking my attempt at installing anarchy_media broke something …
