can’t hide/show by page

i’m looking for a replacement for WidgetLogic. my most frequent task, across numerous sites, is “show this widget on PageX” or “hide that widget on PageY”. it seems obvious from your documentation that this is an intended function of WidgetOptions, but it’s not happening here. in place of a list of the pages on my site, i get a page list that’s identical with the demo: “Home/Front, Blog, Archives,” &c. what am i missing? i tried “maybe it will work differently for a newly created widget”, but nope.
