can’t hide WordPress news widget

    the plugin is not working on my site. the screen options, help, admin color scheme, are showing after i ticked the check boxes to hide those widgets and saved. please someone help.

    The id is right – dashboard_primary and it should works, also tested in my installs currently with WP 4.8 and 4.9-alpha. Maybe you have more as one role on the user?
