Hi there. I’d installed this plugin on my localhost wordpress installation and failed at importing demo content, then read the thread on that topic and found you just can’t do it on a local installation. So I set up a wordpress installation on GoDaddy, but I’m still having the same issues. For a split second after hitting “demo import” a green progress bar will flash, then it goes to a never-ending purple “loading” animation and never does import the demo stuff. I’ve removed the plugin, reset wordpress, set permalinks to post name, and reinstalled the plugin. Still no joy. Can you help?

I actually might be able to. For me, the issue was that I had WordPress installed in a subfolder localhost/wordpress/ instead of in the root folder of my host. I reinstalled directly into localhost and presto! it worked. (And thanks to Alex & Felix at Stylemix for helping sort out the issue ?? )
