Can’t import historical events into Events

Hello

Love the calendar – I switched from “another” calendar and really like the layouts and the fact you can import from ics.

However, I find I can import current and future events:
https://www.dbis.edu.hk/media/calendar/ical/Calendar?timezone=hongcongchina

but can’t do the same with historical events:
https://www.dbis.edu.hk/media/calendar/ical/Calendar?showhistory=true&timezone=hongcongchina

In case it was a memory issue I made the php memory limits huge but still to no avail.

Any suggestions or thoughts?
