Can’t Import Posts From Blogspot To WordPress

  • Hi guys,
    I have a 2 years old blogspot blogger with custom domain and it have 2500+ posts. I recently migrate this Blogspot blog to WordPress successfully but I can’t import it’s 2500+ posts in WordPress. I import blogspot blog content through xml file which is 26MB in size. Please anyone help me how can i do it. ASAP

    Are you getting any specific error messages?

    I have a similar problem, only blogger generates a 90+ MB file.

    The blogger importer says that it has a 20 MB limit, AND it says that it’s not been tested on my version of WP.

    When I try to import, first I get the error messages at the top of the page:

    And when I try to run the import anyway, it’s an WP installation on Panix.com, I get, after a long delay, this message:

    504 Gateway Timeout

The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.

    Given that I’ve been on blogger since 2007, 24407 posts, I do understand that my predicament is an outlier.

    Sounds like blogspot blocks your access after some point. Is there an option there to export a CSV or XML file?
