Can’t import when inserting taxonomy

    Hello,

    I am trying to import feeds to post, and choose a taxonomy “Events”, to import all the feeds as posts of Event category.

    After configuring, I try to run the import and the button turns back into “run now”, and the red “importing…” message stays stuck there.

    When I go to check the posts after that, I see only one new post which was imported, and to a different category.

    I tried already disabling all the other plugins and it didn’t help.

    The import only works well without Taxonomy, only imports to the default category.

    * I am using Divi theme

    I have just tried importing a feed using another category for taxonomy but I didn’t encounter any issues, thus I’m thinking there is some particular setting in your environment that prevents the correct behavior.

    Can you please share your website URL so we can check for errors as well as the Feed RSS URL that you are using?

    It’s a local environment, I can’t share.
    but the feed rss url is this one – https://www.leipzig.de/newsfeed/kategorie/wirtschaft/rss.xml

    Hi @sivanh13!

    I imported this feed on my test instance using a category for taxonomy and everything worked as expected. Could you please make a back up of your site, switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty One and see if the issue persists?
