Hi, I have almost the same problem. I do the samething as xxxreganxxx but instead of having “Syntax error: Unexpected token <” I get the message: “Forbiden” . I cannot change any picture from the template.

I’ve been able to find that my problem is related to an incompatibility with the plug-in Block Bad Queries https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/block-bad-queries . When I turn this plug-in off, I can upload the images.

xxxreganxxx: Sorry for the delay. Please, can do you edit the file:

wp-content/plugins/knews/wysiwyg/parent_editor.js, in the line 2:

var debug_knews=false;

change to:

var debug_knews=true;
