Can"t insert pics in post, but I could before just fine

    I click on insert picture and go to the image gallery I click “show” on the pic I want. That pic page opens up and i click on “insert into post” then it goes to a blank screen and then hangs there.
    I have tried inserting pics form my computer too with the same results.
    I was inserting these pics with no problems until yesterday, so i think I am doing it right.

    and yes I have cleared cookies and rebooted
