• Hi,
Whenever I try to install Events Calendar plugins, I get Error message:
    1.for The Events Calendar:
Installation failed: Could not copy file. the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/REST/Endpoints/CREATE_Endpoint_Interface.php
    2. for the Modern Events Calendar Lite:
Installation failed: Could not copy file. modern-events-calendar-lite/app/features/mec/booking.php
    3. for My Calendar:
Installation failed: Could not copy file. my-calendar/images/icons/surprise.svg

I can install other Event Calendars plugins, like Event Calendar – Responsive Calendar or XO Event Calendar, but they don’t fit me because they don’t have my language option (Lithuanian).

I also tried to install the first three plugins by uploading .zip files, but WordPress gives me Error: The link you followed has expired.
    Please try again.

I tried to deacitivate other active plugins in case they caused some trouble with the installation, but it didn’t help.

I have these active plugins: OceanWP Extra, Elementor, Essential Addons for Elementor, Sticky Header OceanWP and Health Check & Troubleshooting which gives two warnings and I don’t know if it is related to the problem:
PHP modules warning: The optional module, imagick, is not installed or has been disabled.
Background updates warning: A previous automatic background update could not occur. You would have received an email because of this. We’ll try again with the next release. The error code was copy_failed_copy_dir_themes.

“could not copy file” generally means server-level issues. Are you close to running out of disk space? Best check with your host about that. It might also be due to permission issues on the server. Also, ask your host about Imagick (the PHP interface to ImageMagick).

Thank you for your reply and explanation. I believe it is not related to the free disk space as I just only started. I will try to contact my host which is 000webhost.com .
