can't install genesis theme

I have bluehost as my web host, I installed WordPress yesterday then bought the genesis theme with a childframe yesterday, I downloaded the genesis and child theme as zip files. I can not get genesis to install I go to Appearance > install theme > I upload genesis as a zip file and absolutely nothing happens, no notice it is uploading, no this has been uploaded it is like I am not even doing anything, pleade help
