I didn’t find any thing inside wordpress interface that helps me add any plugin.
Seems that the plugin tab is missing.

I tried to install wordpress (install?), the php’s don’t load or I don’t know how.

I can’t connect with a ftp server the wp-admin/plugin folder.

Anybody has a well explained tutorial without logical gaps (a.k.a install wordpress plugins for idiots) about how to install those plugins???

    Thanks.

  • Is this a wordpress.com site or a self-hosted WordPress install?

I’m barely a sophomore at this WP stuff, but I did have some luck with plug ins. Duh, I just searched for them, picked one and told the monster to add plug-in. It worked. It took me quite awhile to figure out that I have a “dot.org” which means self-hosted which means GoDaddy does it. I have just started my trip in FTP land. Ah, a tutorial “without logical gaps.” I know what you mean. I really do. WP for Dummies is absolutely essential. I also find asking questions directly in Google, returns a lot of help. Techy types tend to avoid complete sentences and speak in Acronym, but it comes, really it comes over time. What do you mean by the “plug in tab?”

Ok, first I don’t want to use my personal computer as permanent server ??
Second this is the plugin tab that I don’t see anywhere:

And the webpage that tells me how install in five seconds any plugin that I may want using that magical plugin tab:
    https://my.hostmonster.com/cgi/help/update_wordpress_plugins

(Not “plug IN tab” but “plug-in tab”)

    Thanks for your attention.

    A wordpress.com site ??

Support for wordpress.com is here, https://en.support.wordpress.com/

I am not sure you can use just any plugin in a wordpress.com site.

OK. Now I found this page and now I know I can’t use plugins ??

Anyway, I wanted to upload a plugin for order my categories in my way (no A,B,C but A,C,B). So well, there’s any way to change that order without host or pay for premium wordpress?

    Thanks ??
