Can't install theme

  • I’m trying to install a Prosense theme but failed. The message I got is as follow

    “The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme install failed.”

    Could anyone advise why so and how to rectify it. Thanks

  • If this is a premium theme you will need to to unzip the file they gave you and follow instructions.

    This theme is free. There is no instruction given

    I’ve downloaded from one of the website I can’t remember. But even I tried to install other free themes other than ProSense, I still get the same message and unable to install.

    It is best to search theme from wordpress extend as they are checked to be safe and user friendly.

    Is best to start your own thread so that you get response as this is 7 month old thread

    If you having problem installing premium theme you need the unzip the file and there should be instruction on how to install in that zip file along with theme folder and plugins folder if needed.
