Can’t install themes, new plugins, update core under Bluehost
-
I took a year off from geeking and returned to find that my WordPress installs no longer gave me the ability to add or update plugins or themes, or the core install. It now all has to be done through Bluehost’s front-end.
This really blows.
It also doesn’t allow me to install anything new from within WordPress. I have to go through their File Manager like it’s 1996.
Is this a flip of a switch? Can I change a config file to return control of my WordPress installs to me and not Bluehost?
Thanks in advance,
Michael
