Can't install Woocommerce manually

So, something went wrong with my site, and Woocommerce stopped showing as an installed plugin. However, when I checked the files through an FTP client, I saw that the Woocommerce folder was actually there. So, I deleted it, and manually uploaded another Woocommerce there, but I cannot see it in installed plugins, therefore I cannot activate it.
What should I do?
