Can't install wordpress

Hello everyone,

I just tried to install wordpress on a subdomain on my host, but I get the unexpected T_VARIABLE error when I try to launch the install.php

I’ve searched and gone through a lot of topics, but they all suggest the error is caused by careless editing of files and the only file I’ve edited was the config file for the db info.

The error I get is:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /www/zero-blade.com/shamanicaros/root/wp-includes/option.php on line 225

Any help would be appreciated!
