Can’t Install WP on PLESK

    I’ve installed wordpress before using cpanel with no problem. But this time I have to use Plesk 8.3. and I cant get it installed.

    I create a database and user, I upload the wp-config.php with all the info but then when I try to access /wp-admin/instal.php I cant enter the page, instead, one of these windows pop ups as I was trying to download something (I get the options “open with” or “save as”). The same happens when I try to enter the domain.com. And I’m stucked there.

    What am I doing wrong? Why cant I install wordpress properly using Plesk? I’ll appreciate all your help.

    Sounds like php has not been enabled – look at that 1st.

    thanks samboll, I alredy wrote to the server guys asking for PHP to be enabled, I hope that will fix the instalation problem.
