Can’t Jump

    Howdy,

    Today I installed GT3 Gallery Lite – onto WordPress 5.22

    Doing some experiments…

    I have a Portfolio Page (with my default Sidebar) – that shows 17 images:

    Headline
    spacer 30px
    Custom Html Block
    <div id=”advertising_cover_01″></div>
    image
    text about image
    wide line

    spacer 30px
    Custom Html Block
    <div id=”advertising_cover_02″></div>
    image
    text about image
    wide line

    etc

    spacer 30px
    Custom Html Block
    <div id=”advertising_cover_17″></div>
    image
    text about image
    wide line

    I made another Page (without a Sidebar) – using GT3 Gallery Lite

    I selected 17 images from the Media Library

    Settings >
    Image Size: Medium (300px)
    Columns: 5

    On the Right side of the Page Editor, the 17 ‘small’ thumbnails are shown – in the sidebar, each with an Edit and Delete button

    If I click the last image, I enter this >

    All the other 16 thumbs – are using this same format – with the correct numbers… ??

    The Page is saved.

    If I then Preview the Thumbnail Page, and click on the last 17th image – I’m expected it to jump to the main Portfolio Page – and go down to image 17.

    What happens – it always jumps to the Top of the Portfolio Page – the ‘anchor’ is not seen or respected…

    the value of the so-called ‘anchor’ is > data-i=”17″

    Why is “data-i” not working…?

    Hello Ken!
    Can you please explain what it means “On the Right side of the Page Editor, the 17 ‘small’ thumbnails are shown – in the sidebar, each with an Edit and Delete button” ?

    What is the purpose to use anchors? What do you expect to get in the result?

    It’s a little bit hard to understand your final goal ??

    Sorry for the delay, was editing my website for the past few days…

    I managed to get the Thumbnail page to work correctly. Clicking a ‘thumbnail’ now jumps to that particular main page – and to the image.

    I just used your website Contact page – to post another question.
