Can′t let the ALT & TITLE TEXT / DESCRIPTION in the Gallery empty

    Why I can′t let the ALT & TITLE TEXT / DESCRIPTION in the Gallery empty?

    If I change the name it works and it will be saved. If I delte the description and save, then the old Text Attribute is again in the Description.

    Is this a gallery feature or can I deselect this an a gallery setting?

    Hi @kaschwei,

    I am glad to help,

    “ALT & TITLE TEXT” is the value at the top. This is required by the W3C and it is used for accessibility and SEO (You can read about this here). That is why it is not possible to have it blank.

    “DESCRIPTION” is the value at the bottom, This is used in our plugin to be display in the lightbox effects and other places. This can indeed be empty. If this does not work then you might be facing an actual issue or conflict.

    There is no setting to disable the Alt & title field.
