I determined that if I upload a new audio file and set a player on a product page, it will work. But the 100+ players and files that I have on the site that were working before do not work. All of them work fine on the editor side, but not on the live side. I would hate to have to reload all of those files, and at least would like to know what caused this to change. I’m not running Jetpack.

Also, it seems that none of the players, even the new files I have uploaded, are working in Firefox (Mac) at all.

We found a database cache issue relating to moving the site from an old domain. That cleared up everything EXCEPT for the players not working in Firefox Mac. Do you have any idea why Firefox on the Mac might be a problem?

The console in Firefox returns this note: “application/octet-stream” is not supported.

More completely: HTTP “Content-Type” of “application/octet-stream” is not supported. Load of media resource https://www.guidedimagerydownloads.com/wp-content/uploads/meet-your-guide-introduction.mp3 failed.

    How can we fix this?

My guess would be the way your server is set up to serve media. Putting your audio url directly into the address bar it doesn’t play either, instead prompts me to download the file. I think this is probably the issue.
