Top of my plugin page is the following message:

Plugin Hide Singular Title is not hooked!
WordPress Autoloader plugin is required to use Hide Singular Title plugin.
Please install and activate WordPress Autoloader plugin first.

I am also trying to configure MailChimp which also needs wp-admin however I can’t seem to locate it. I’ve found a javascript autoloader, buddypress autoloader, css autoloader etc. but none of these seem to fix the problem. External links like https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/wp-autoloader bring me to the wordpress plugins page but wp-autoloader is nowhere to be found, at least I can’t find it.

Does anyone have a clue where to look? Is it part of the wp-instalation? I’ve even tried googling to download it but no luck there either.

Does anyone have a clue where to find it?

    Thank you,

    Bruce

  • I can’t find any trace of Hide Singular Title either, apart from this apparent scrape of the old plugin page: https://www.wpmeta.org/plugins/hide-singular-title/, which has a copy of this review:

This plugin requires you to install an additional plugin which is expressly designed to automatically have full access to change any of the PHP code on your back end admin page and that’s never a good idea. Talk about opening the doors to the world! Shouldn’t be required to install such an awful plugin just for the simple original plugin to work.

If I had to guess, Hide Singular Title and WordPress Autoloader are gone for a reason. I suggest finding another plugin.

I am also trying to configure MailChimp which also needs wp-admin

Also? wp-admin is not WordPress Autoloader. It usually refers to /wp-admin, the path the the admin area of your site. What do you mean that MailChimp “needs” it?

    Hi Joccob,

Re: mailchimp, I was mistaken, the note to the autoloader was just above a page I was accessing for mailchimp and misunderstood it to be needed for mailchimp too. I think I’ll follow your advice re: Singular Title and just get rid of the plugin all together.

Thank you, that really does help.
