Can't log back in – please help!

    Hi. I have searched through and tried all of the options to restore access to my WordPress Dashboard. I am assuming the plugin locked me out after some time working on my site so I punched in the alternative brute force URL rename link and for some reason it took me to my website front page instead of my log-in.

    I tried ftp rename folder method – still couldn’t gain access.

    I have deleted the whole folder and still redirects me to 127.0.0.1.

    I did not download the ht.access file I only have the wp_config file.

    Please can someone give me some pointers to regain access to me site.

    Thank you. I managed to gain access again. However, I am afraid that when the plugin times out again I will be unable to log back in once more, because I used the suggested “www.mydomain/?secretword=1” to log in but it tool me to the front page of my website and not the login page. Do you have any idea/s on what I might have activated for this to be happening?

    Hi did you enable any of the features under User Login?

    Hi. Much apologies for the late reply. Yes I enabled a custom log in. I am able to log in and out. Thanks for your time.
