• I was doing some cleaning up of plug-ins I am not using and have no plans on using, and since deactivating and deleting (I don’t even know if the deletion was successful) I can no longer log in nor can I pull up my site.

This is the message I am receiving when pulling up mysite/wp-admin and my site.

‘Warning: require_once(/home/content/17/4992317/html/wp-content/plugins/wp-hive/do-prefix.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/17/4992317/html/wp-content/db.php on line 6’

I can get into my FTP, but have no idea what to do.

  • FTP into your site and delete the wp-content/plugins/wp-hive folder.

That was my first move, but when it didn’t do anything I restored it.

    Hi,

Your error message clearly indicates that there is an issue with the wp-hive plugin. So disable all the plugins and upgrade your wordpress to the latest version.

Also change your theme to default one to rules out theme level problems.

    Thanks,

    Shane G.

Thanks, but I can’t log in to wp-admin in order to do that.

I’ve deleted all plug-ins from my FTP site, and that still has not solved anything. I can try deleting all themes except the default and see if that helps.

    Any other thoughts?

Called my hosting provider, and the issue is now resolved. Thanks for your input.
