Can’t log in after changing URL

  • Just installed WP thru my CPanel. A newbie here so I have no idea how to set the blog url. Basically, the WP url I set up first was taking me to my website instead of my WP Blog. I was then able to log in. So I decided that I needed to add “/blog” at the end of my website url for the WP blog.

    I followed the instructions from:
    https://www.tamba2.org.uk/wordpress/site-url/

    However after I did the changes I can’t log in anymore.
    Please help.

  • Did you install your blog in a “/blog” directory? If not, revisit that tutorial link and specify where WordPress actually exists.

    No, I didn’t. I just checked the tutorial again and I noticed that I didn’t do this:

    “Delete everything in the /wp-content/cache directory as soon as you make the database change.”
