Cant log in after host migration

    My webhost x10 hosting.com have had to migrate all the account that it holds and i have been in conversation with them also, mainly its a waiting game of waiting for the migration to complete but when i go to https://delaboleunitedafc.x10host.com/wp-admin/ and enter my log in credentials is doesnt recognise me or even when i say i lost my password and enter my email address it says no email address exists with you. Can i alter these details anyway in the softaculous admin page of my hosting? I realise the hosting side is nothing to do with you just asking why im not being able to log in anymore?

    Hi there,

    The hosting provider may have not migrated all of the database yet, as the login credentials for administrators are held in a database table. If they offer the capability for logging into the database, then you can sign in and check the WP user roles. If your user was migrated in the database, then the data may be corrupted which you will need to reach out to your host and see if you can repair the database. You can also install WP CLI on the server, which will allow you to create a new admin user from the command line.

    Are you sure they did the full migration and the database details were not changed? It sounds like the user is not in place or the wp-config.php file which contains the details of your database might be incorrect at this point. If you are sure the correct database details are in place there, you can check the wp_users table if your user is still there (mostly with a tool called PhpMyAdmin in the control panel of your host)

    I have been on my hosting forum and they are suggesting that because of the migration they are doing one pass of migrating the accounts of the users first then after this a second pass of migrating the databases, I’ve managed to change the log in credentials in myphpadmin in my hosting control panel and now can log in via https://www.delaboleunitedafc.x10host.com/wp-admin, so looks like I’ve just got yo wait for my website to migrate now as I didn’t have a backup done, which I thought I had as I don’t want yo start my website from scratch
