Can't log in – endless redirection loop

  • Installed this plug in on a recommendation from a blog and now I can’t seem to get logged into my back end. It goes in endless loops.

    If I go to mysite.com/login.php or mysite.com/wp-admin/ an endless loop starts.

    I logged into my FTP account and deleted the plug in, but that didn’t fix it.

    In my phpMyAdmin looks like there’s still data in the database. I’m not sure what rows to delete.

    Can someone please provide step-by-step instructions on fixing this mess that this plug in as caused. If I did something to cause this, then please tell me and others in the FAQ page or installation page.

  • I also have this problem, a solution would be great as I need to hand over the website to a client…

    Just solved this by using Peter’s Login Redirect to redirect admin role to ‘/wp-admin’ on login, temporary fix but might help while this issue is amended.
