Can't log-in to my site

  • I’m having a problem logging in to my site. When I go to my myurl/wp-admin and enter my username and password, then click ‘Log In’, the page just refreshes and clears the password field. However, if I click the forgotten password link and then click back to log in without typing anything and re-enter my username and password it logs me in. Obviously this isn’t the end of the world, but it is annoying. Is there any way around this?

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Twelve theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.
