can’t log in to wp-admin

  • Dear webmaster,
    I just make a mistake, when I resetting in the General Panel, in the box for WordPress address (URL) I chhanged into: https://nikiblogkulo.com/wordpress, instead of https://nikiblogkulo.com. In the box for Blog address (URL) remain as before: https://nikiblogkulo.com, (I do not changed anything), then I click Update option. After that the message “file not found” is appear.

    I’m confused because I can not log in to the wp-admin and there is always the error message page. So my question, how to maintain may blog? Thank you for your guidance. dawud

  • Hello dalungr11.

    You can change the url back to the correct one by accessing the database in use by wordpress.

    There are 2 entrys in the wp_options table which refer to the url.

    the 2 entrys are 1 and 39

    change the incorrect one and everything should be back to normal.
