Can’t log-in with google when I setup site kit

@rahmayousef Thanks for reporting, hopefully we can assist. As you’ve already attempted many of the troubleshooting steps can you inform me of the following:
– Your Site Health information
– Your current web host provider

If you want to attempt setup once more please try the following:
– Temporarily disable any web application firewall or ModSecurity at host level if active (during setup only)
– Attempt setup from a Chrome incognito window

@rahmayousef Just checking up to see whether the same issue persists with Site Kit setup? If so can you confirm that you’ve followed the steps as previously mentioned?

@rahmayousef we’ve just released version 1.3.1. Could you update and let us know if the issue has resolved? If not, could you confirm whether your hosting provider has any security measures in place (like Modsecurity) and provide your Site Health Information? Thank you.

Hi … I am now having the exact same problem as the original post.

1 Verify site ownership
2 Allow to access Google Account data
3 Set up Search Console … Sign in with Google … and the page is reloaded. Takes me nowhere.
4 go to Site Kit on WP and the dashboard tell me to sign in, and when i do says I have already given access to Site Kit with my email.

I’ve turned off Norton antivirus. turned off antispam. reloaded Site Kit. Used incognito.
also sacrificed three goats. danced naked under a full moon .. and NONE OF THIS WORKS! Sorry for the frustration, but …. FRUSTRATION!

any thoughts on how to get this thing working right?
