Can't log into new site after import.

  • I’ve tried everything I can think of, so I need help.

    I am exporting my site from my local machine running MAMP to a dev url on my website server. The export/import appears to goes fine but when I click to save my permalinks after import is finished, it opens the wp admin log in page BUT it will only allow me to log into my original site on my machine. It just keep redirecting me there. I cannot log into the new site. What am I doing wrong?

    We just launched a new version. Do you mind updating your both sites to the new version and attempt to export/import again.

    I am having the exact same problem and am using the latest load. All seems to go fine but when prompted to log in and save permalinks twice, I am redirected to my old site. Cannot log into the new site. Please help. Thank you much!

    Same here still, been locked out of my site for a week now and nobody responding to support tickets.

    All the images are down because I cannot save permalinks

    I’m having a similar issue. I successfully updated a site over an old site on my dev server. it takes me to the login screen, however none of the username/password combinations works. Either for the original site, or for the new site that was already setup. Does something with the salt change that causes the passwords to be invalidated?
