Can't log out

What happens when you choose to log out when you see the page “are you sure you want to log out?”

I just stay on the page, even if I keep pressing log out…

Does anything happen at all? Is the link working or are you saying that it appears to be working and then it shows you the question again? It also usually shows that if you have already logged out.

The progress bar in my browser starts, but then doesn’t go all the way, it seesm to give up. I just stay on the same page over and over. It doesn’t even refresh the page. I can only go backwards to my admin panel or just close the window…

What theme are you using? Can you post a link to your site?

What happens when you disable all plugins and use the default theme?

I noticed as well that it was pretty slow… I will try disabling the plugins, but how do I do to use the default theme?

You can choose to activate Twenty Thirteen under Appearance>Themes. Try that and see if you have any issues and then try to disable any plugins as well. The point of this is to see if a plugin or theme is the cause of your issue. If you find that it is, activate the theme and/or plugin one at a time to troubleshoot to see which one is the culprit. If this does not help you may want to contact your host as well.

OK, with the theme twenty thirteen, I have 80% performance and 2.58 sec loading time.
With the maya theme, it goes down to 71% and 2.5 sec. I am not sure if the index of performance is supposed to stay around 80%? When I have tried activating each plugin, effectively it goes downhill and the time of loading increases. If I find a particular plugin responsible for that problem, what should I do? delete it and re-install it?
I have emailed my host as well for further inquiry.

What about the Log out problem?

So are you saying you still have a login issue? As far as plugins and performance goes, you’re going to have to balance that yourself meaning your choice of plugins and theme is directly impacting your performance and only through testing can you find out where the bottleneck is and decide if it is worth having that plugin or tweaking it yourself to get a better performance out of it.

I am not sure what plugin is the problem, it started already when I only had woocommerce activated again: down to 61%. But I need this plugin and i am scared of losing all my products. So in doubt, I have reinstalled all of the plugins and I intend to ask a freelancer to do it for me. Yes, I still have the log out problem, unfortunately… might be best if I ask a freelancer for this too… Thank you so much for your time though!
