• I tried logging into my wordpress site, and after putting in my username and password (the same ones that I’ve used successfully in the past), a little box appears on the page after clicking Log In that just says “Please log in to continue.” I’ve tried my personal user and the sysadmin account we have, and when you enter the correct password it redirects you to the URL “https://team4element.com/login/?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fteam4element.com%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1” and tells you that you need to log in to continue. Incorrect passwords/usernames still tell you that the username/password is incorrect, but it only tells you when you put the CORRECT combination of the two in that you need to log in, which doesn’t make sense, because that’s what I’m trying to do in the first place. Any ideas on what could cause this?

I’ve confirmed with the other site admins that none of our accounts work, they all just tell us “Please log in to continue.”

Are all these accounts on the same server? In that case, try contacting your hosting provider and discuss the issue with them. See if they implemented some security measures on the server your accounts are, which may be causing this issue.

What do you mean same server?

I tried changing the site’s admin password by using FTP and the theme’s functions.php, but for some reason when I went to past in the changed document, it told me we didn’t have any disk space, and that it failed copying the file in. Now we have no functions.php (a seemingly critical file) making our site a blank white page. I’m a bit confused by this, and I’m going to contact the host now to see why it’s telling me we have no disk space.
