• I was in the process of editing the Firewall options when all of a sudden it logged me out and I tried logging in again and got this: https://imgur.com/NdHwbqv

I have created the forceOff file which works, but I then can’t use the plugin. I’m thinking I need to edit the database. Which entry in the database contains the IP address for whitelisting? Or better yet, what are ALL the database entries so that I can remove them and try this plugin again fresh?

    Thanks.

With the forceoff enabled, you can get back in with the plugin working if you disable the User sessions module.

All the databases pertaining the plugin begin with : “icwp_wpsf_” so you’ll be able to find them easily enough.

Hi. I went in an deleted all the databases table with wpsf. I found them in options and meta as well. So far I’m able to use the plugin again without getting locked out with that message. However, at both of my WP websites it seems that when I enable the option to delete settings on deactivation the unique install ID disappears and I can’t get it back even after changing the option to delete settings on deactivate again. Not sure if this is an issue.

When I first used forceOff the whole plugin was disabled. So I couldn’t manipulate any settings. After I deleted all database entries for this plugin and having the forceOff I was able to change settings within the plugin and seeing the big red banner at the top saying something like, “Warning firewall disabled.”

I originally had this plugin working. But had to deactivate it and remove the plugin from the FTP to find out why my visual editor wasn’t working. Turns out after all kinds of tests it was my host blocking a CloudFlare IP in their firewalll.

Hmm… it seems there was a bit of corruption somewhere along the way with your plugin installation. Also, not sure why you’re not getting an installation ID again. Are you using the absolute latest version of the plugin?

The next major release of the plugin is a near-complete rewrite of much of the code and my hope is that smaller quirks like this will be resolved, but I’ll dig into it to ensure there’s nothing strange going on there.

Thanks for reporting back and glad you got it working for you.
    Thanks!

I used a new installation download of the plugin. Perhaps another plugin or my htaccess rules would do something to make the installation ID disappear?
