  • Hi,

Can you try by disabling all plugins? Disable all plugins and see if the logins work. If they work, start enabling the plugins one by one until you can reproduce the issue.

If you can reproduce the issue with a specific enabled plugin, that is the culprit.

Disabling plugins doesn’t help. My login for this support forum is doing the same thing – I have to reset it each time I login…

Try emptying your browser’s cache and deleting all cookies.

Tried emptying cache & deleting cookies. Still doesn’t help….

This isn’t a WordPress issue per se as your site’s login has no connection with your login for this forum. So it has to be something at your end.

    Hi Esmi,

Apologies, I was wrong about the password for the forum – entirely my error… I’m becoming paranoid!

The wp-admin problem remains, and is not only me. We have two admins on different machines miles apart. Both are experiencing the same login problem…

    Help!

Are you using FF? Try a different browser.

It’s the same in Chrome, IE and Safari…. Agh!

    Disabling plugins doesn’t help.

But you did try that correct?

    For standard debugging . . .
    Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
