• We had a blog with WordPress when we had a different URL. We changed that URL almost a year ago and seemingly haven’t logged in since. We wanted to transfer the rest of our posts over to our new site (we changed the URL a year ago but changed the entire web store platform several months ago). However, our old login URL (associated with our old URL) is no longer valid, and I couldn’t even login to www.ads-software.com to post to this forum; it said the email address wasn’t in use. (So I created another account under a different email address so I could at least post here for help.) I’m not sure if we were able to login there before; we always had to use the https://healthyfamilyfoodscanada.com/wp-admin to get to the right login page in order to edit the blog.

The support articles and forum advice all say things like going into the wp-admin file and changing the URL, but how do we get into such a file in the first place? Our URL is hosted through GoDaddy, but I logged in there and saw no such thing. I don’t know if the backend of Lightspeed has any such thing. We have a new blog with them and simply had transferred over some of our old blog posts before switching URLs. We didn’t do a backup of anything, because we didn’t realize we would have this problem.

Is there some alternative way to log in? Is there a chance our account got deleted? How can I work around this? We would really like to recover our account if possible. Thank you!
